If you could hold your fragile future
In the very palm of your hand
Have your destiny revealed to you
As our Lord so perfectly planned
Would you then make differen't choices
Knowing of the trials and pain
Or see through it to the lessons
Then glorify his holy name
Would you feel cheated and regret
If achievement turned failure someday
Or be thankful for the chance presented
As to a fair and just God you pray
Will you shake your fists, frustrated
Seeing that your loved ones must leave
Or be rejoiceful in the knowledge
That in our savior they all believe
When you saw no fruit for each labor
Did you then think, why should I bother
Or see a content, but humble life
And still thank your heavenly father
Only at our Lord's preappointed time
Will our earthly lives then end
And how we've embraced this destiny
Is a journey we all must decend
So will you curse the heaven's in anger
Screaming "This isn't what I deserved"
Or peacefully kneel in your silence
And pray to the loving God you served
