My Garden

I once planted a garden
But my flower wouldn't grow
Though I nurtured it with love
I was to young to know
So many other elements
That I could not provide
There grew a barren plant
In which the future died
For my love was not enough
To make my flower bloom
A life without it's needs
Is a life bound for doom
I pray you find your elements
Your sunshine and your rain
When springtime returns
The warmth will ease the pain
Your the flower in my garden
Seasons change to maturity
I never gave up hope or love
You'd bloom someday for me

(FOR BEN)
